A child was killed and two other members of the child’s family were injured when the Houthis shelled a village in Al-Sollu district, south of Taiz, in southwestern Yemen.
A source in the local authority told Almasdar Online that Houthi militias based in the Ali Nasser camp in Khadir district shelled the Al-Sharaf area east of Al-Sollu district.
According to the source, one of the shells landed on the house of Fares Abdo Mohammed Ali, killing his 10-year-old daughter Rahma, injuring his two children, Raafat, 8, and Nader, 1.5 years old.
Over the past two days, the Houthis have resumed heavy shelling on residential areas in the Al-Sollu district from its positions in Khadir.
