Houthi shelling kills one woman, injures three children in Hodeidah

The Houthis fired mortar shells on civilian homes in Al-Matinah village in southern Hodeidah governorate on Monday, killing a woman and injuring three children, according to the UAE-backed Giants Brigade Media Center.
The seriously wounded children were rushed from Tuhita district to the hospital in the coastal city of Al-Khokha near Hodeidah's border with Taiz governorate.
In a separate incident, a Houthi landmine killed 10-year-old Abdo Ali Salem on his way home from the market in the Al-Masna area in Al-Hook district, south of Hodeidah city.
From January 2018 to April 2019, the Civilian Impact Monitoring Project documented 114 deaths and 56 injuries from landmines in Hodeidah alone. Landmines killed 19 children throughout the country during this period.
