Local residents discovered the bodies of a former UAE Red Crescent employee and his aide in Yemen’s southern coastal city of Aden.

The bodies of Ahmed Fouad Al-Yousfi, a former general coordinator at the Emirates relief organization, and his aide and friend Mohammed Tariq were found with gunshot wounds in Aden’s Sheikh Othman district and taken to Al-Sadaqa hospital, residents said.

The two men were missing since Thursday evening and thought to have been kidnapped in front of a shop in the city’s Aldrin neighborhood, the residents said.
