Sources at the port and Central Bank of Yemen in Aden told Almasdar Onlinethat a batch of newly printed cash arrived in the port of Aden on Friday evening. It was later transported in high-security vehicles to the Central Bank building in Crater. 

The arrival of the cash — printed in Russia — is a proactive step in  preliminary arrangements for the return of the government. The governments return to Aden was scheduled for Saturday, but occurred today. 

The governments return to Aden will be paved with challenges, such as paying the salaries of soldiers in the army and various other security forces. Salaries have not been paid to government forces since August due to clashes with the STC.
